About the Role
Reflect Memory Inc. is building the persistent organizational memory layer for AI-native teams. We're looking for a Founding Account Executive to help us bring it to market. This is a rare opportunity to be the first sales hire at a category-defining company, owning the full outbound motion from cold outreach to closed deal. You're a seasoned hunter with a deep rolodex, a sharp instinct for regulated industries, and the drive to build repeatable GTM playbooks from scratch. You won't just carry a quota but rather you'll help define what great selling looks like at Reflect Memory.
We offer two lanes:
- Self-serve AI infra on annual licenses (Product)
- Solutions Consulting for implementation and co-design engagements
Current Team:
- Van Mendoza Co-founder/CEO; ex Staff/Principal Design for Apple, Google, Sony, TikTok
- Background in Product, Design, User Acquisition, Performance Marketing, Videography/Photography
- Tamer Shafik Co-founder/CTO; 2x exited founder, PhD, VP of Eng at Mysa
- Hands on Engineer: Leads and still executes in the trenches.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full outbound sales cycle; from prospecting and pipeline development through discovery, demo, scoping, SOW, and close (CoFounder/CEO will be on every call with you - so this isn't a handoff initially until repeatable motion is in place)
- Leverage your existing network and rolodex to generate warm pipeline in target verticals from day one
- Conduct high-quality discovery calls and product demos tailored to mid-market buyers across regulated industries
- Manage multi-stakeholder relationships across VP, Director, and C-suite personas throughout the sales process
- Build and document repeatable outbound motions, tracking conversion rates at every stage of the funnel
- Partner closely with leadership to refine ICP, messaging, and GTM strategy based on real market feedback
- Develop initial scoping frameworks and work cross-functionally to move deals from verbal agreement to signed SOW
- Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene and reporting using your preferred CRM and outbound tech stack
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience (7+ years strongly preferred), with a track record of outbound hunting and closing in mid-market
- Demonstrated experience selling into one or more of our target verticals: Healthcare Ops, Healthcare AI/Data, Contact Center SaaS, AI/ML-native companies, Professional Services, Venture Studios, Government, Military, or AI infrastructure
- Deep existing relationships with relevant buyer personas including VP/Dir of Operations, Head of Product, VP Engineering, Head of AI, Chief of Staff, Staff Engineers, and Managing Partners
- Proven ability to run a full SDR/AE hybrid motion: you can prospect, qualify, demo, and close without hand-holding
- Experience building or contributing to repeatable GTM playbooks and sales processes in an early-stage environment
- Strong command of a modern outbound tech stack (CRM, sequencing tools, enrichment, etc.). Bring what works for you
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across complex, multi-threaded deals
- GTM or startup experience preferred; entrepreneurial mindset is a must

- 35% commission, uncapped (recurring on active license status) on self-serve B2B sales
- 20% commission, uncapped on consulting (implementation and co-design) engagements + monthly recurring maintenance retainers

- No base salary pre-b2b revenue -BUT- back-pay guaranteed for annual salary once profitability -or- funding closes. Seperate from commissions.
- Commissions paid within 7-14 days of fund clearance
